For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme. Zentralbild Franke 4.11.1966 Berlin: Abschluß der 1. Jahreskonferenz des Deutschen Schriftstellerverbandes Mit herzlichem Beifall dankten die über 350 Teilnehmer an der 1. Jahrekonferenz der Deutschen Schriftstellerkonferenz (im Vordergrund links Prof. Alfred Kurella, daneben Max Zimmering) den Diskussionsrednern, die in der Kongreßhalle am Berliner Alexanderplatz das Wort ergriffen. Vom 2. bis 4.11.1966 hatten die Delegierten und Gäste - Schriftsteller, junge Autoren, schreibende Arbeiter, Literaturwissenschaftler und Bibliothekare - über die Entwicklung der sozialistischen deutschen Nationalliteratur und die Stellung des Schriftstellers in der Gesellschaft beraten. |
