Berlin, Karl-Marx-Allee, Kino "Kosmos" Zentralbild Eckleben Ge. 7.5.1963 Welturaufführung Das Russische Wunder in Berlin. Das Russische Wunder - einer der bedeutensten Dokumentarfilme der Nachkriegszeit - von Annelie und Andrew Thorndike, erlebte am 6.5.1963 im Berliner Filmtheater Kosmos seine Welturaufführung. Annelie und Andrew Thorndike haben über 4 Jahre an dem 'Dokumentarfilm gearbeitet und sind mit drei Aufnahmestäben 800.000 km durch das Sowjetland gereist. Das Ergebnis ihrer Arbeit ist ein ergreifendes Filmwerk. UBz: Blick auf das Filmtheater Kosmos kurz vor Beginn der Welturaufführung.
