For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Leipzig, DHfK, Gymnastik Zentralbild Funck,Wendorf-Bay-Qu 19.4.1956 DHfK für das II. Deutsche Turn- und Sportfest. Auch die Deutsche Hochschule für Körperkultur (DHfK) in Leipzig wird in der zeit vom 2. bis 5. August 1956 wesentlich zum Gelingen des II. Deutschen Turn- und Sportfestes beitragen. Die jungen Studenten haben einige Übungen einstudiert, die sie vor den 100.000 in Leipzig zeigen werden. Über 700 Sportler der DHfK werden die Zuschauer mit ihren Reifenübungen, Gymnastikübungen usw. erfreuen. UBz: Ausschnitte aus den Reifenübungen der Leipziger Studentinnen.
