For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.  Dresden, Semperoper, Zuschauerraum
ADN-ZB Häßler 9.2.85 Dresden: Semperoper. Die 1945 schwer zerstörte Dresdner Semperoper öffnet am 13.2.85, am 40. Jahrestag des Bombenangriffs, wieder ihre Pforten. Der Zuschauerraum wurde weitgehend originalgetreu rekonstruiert. Die Bauleute griffen dabei auf Archivmaterial zurück. Vorgenommene Veränderungen dienen der Verbesserung der Sitz- und Sichtverhältnisse. Der vergrößerte Zuschauerraum verfügt jetzt über 1.300 Plätze. Bei der Bombardierung wurden der Zuschauerraum und das Bühnenhaus am schlimmsten betroffen. (siehe 1-3n, 5-13n) Achtung! Redaktionen! Sperrfrist 13.2.85, 19 Uhr! |
