Description
English: Advertising poster for the upcoming 6 April 1930 season-inaugurating bullfight at La Maestranza in Seville. Named on the poster as the two bullfighters who were to appear are Manuel Jiménez "Chicuelo" and Joaquín Rodríguez "Cagancho". The cattleman Don Florentino Sotomayor was to lay on "six handsome bulls". Jiménez's and Rodríguez's bullfighting teams (cuadrillas) are named in full. The bullfights were to begin at four o'clock. Admission ranged in price from 6 to 250 pesetas, depending on where in the bullring one sat (or stood). The photographs are of the two bullfighters named so prominently in red.
