Summary
[edit]Description | Screen capture of bullet hit squibs on the costume used in Sara (1997), showing 1x hero piece and 2x stunt piece. Down feathers are used as the simulant creating the aesthetic of bullet hits on a down jacket.
The first frame shows the hero piece. Second/third frames show the stunt piece being reused with down feathers inserted into the bullet hole (before/after). Fourth frame shows the same jacket being reused. Fifth/sixth frames show a second stunt piece was used due to the shift in the location of the bullet hole on the chest (before/after). A precut hole is also visible on the fabric. |

Purpose of use in article (WP:NFCC#8) | These stills show an example of dead character costumes being used in a film. Two stunt pieces and one hero piece were used here, and furthermore one stunt piece can be seen reused in the third fourth frame. The last two frames show a second stunt piece being used. This example further shows the concealment of the squib/prescored fabric in the fifth frame. It also illustrates the aesthetics of bullet hits with down feathers instead of fake blood. |

Minimal use (WP:NFCC#3) | Key screenshots of each take were made to illustrate the bullet hit squib effect. Key details like pre-scored bullet holes won't be visible if file resolution is reduced too drastically. File also contains six screenshots, if reduced to 0.1mp, it will be difficult to see any detail. |
