Painting from the US Federal Building in the Columbian Exhibition, 1893 Paid for by US Treasury, Sold to Mr. Rogers, Wamego KS Now in The Columbian Theatre, Wamego Kansas Likely painted by ET "Theodore" Behr 1 of a series of 8 The eight paintings were two sets of four -- one set representing the leading economic features of the regions of America: North, South, East and West. The other set depicted prosperous trades and industries. These included "Steel and Industrial Trades," "Architecture and Building trades" and "Tapestry and Weaving Trades" and "Ceramic and Pottery Crafts." The latter two were installed in the Kansas City men's club and destroyed. Likely "Building"
