These cards were placed in cigarette packages c. 1910-12 and were collected just as hockey & baseball cards from bubble gum packages are today.

Inscription: Inscribed recto: u.l. "No. 17" in print, lower edge "BRUCE STUART of Ottawa Club" in print; verso top to bottom "HOCKEY SERIES / BRUCE STUART, Shoe Merchant, / Ottawa, / Has played with / Ottawa, 1902 / Pittsburgh, 1903 / Houghton, Mich., / 1904 to 1907 / Wanderers, 1908 / Ottawa, / 1909 to 1910" in print.
Date between circa 1910 and circa 1912
