English: Broom Junction railway station.
View northwards, towards Redditch, Barnt Green and Birmingham. Behind camera, the branch to Stratford-on-Avon and Blisworth, also to the Midland Main Line at Ravenstone Wood Junction, went off to the east. Broom - Stratford was closed to passengers 23/5/49, on to Blisworth 7/4/52; goods traffic ceased in stages up to 13/6/60 (latterly from the WR at Stratford, by connections there and at Broom opened during World War Two). The main line, Barnt Green - Redditch - Broom - Evesham - Ashchurch was closed Redditch - Evesham on 1/10/62, Evesham - Ashchurch on 17/6/63 (Goods 8/3/64).
