The other corners depict a Chinese, a Malay and an Orang Ulu, representing the main 'races' that constituted the Kingdom of Sarawak under the Brooke dynasty. The plaques are similarly written in Iban, Chinese and Arabic script (Jawi) as well as in English. The profile at front is of Rajah Charles Brooke.
