Brocklesby Junction signal box is a Great Central Railway Type 5 design which opened in 1914 fitted with a 96 lever Great Central Railway frame, replacing an 1880s-built signal box located a few yards nearer to Scunthorpe. The signal box was built and the lever frame manufactured by McKenzie & Holland, and was listed as a Grade II listed building on 26th May 1995. By July 1987 the signal box diagram showed the named as being Brocklesby but the TEW SM48 entrance-exit panel that replaced the lever frame on 27th April 1998 showed box named as Brocklesby Junction again
