View eastward, towards Hadfield and Sheffield; ex-Great Central Manchester - Sheffield (Victoria) Main line. This station, which was called 'Mottram & Broadbottom' until 1/1/54, has survived, as it is on the surviving stub west of Hadfield , served by local trains from Manchester (Piccadilly) to Hadfield and Glossop; the main line to Sheffield having lost its through passenger services on 5/1/70 and its freight on 18/7/81
