Description
English: Seated bronze figure of Ganesha. Cambodia, Khmer, 13th century CE. Given by P.T. Brooke Sewell, Esq. OA 1964.7-13.1. Ganesha is often depicted in bronze in ancient Cambodia where surviving metal images are small in size by comparison with the often monumental size of figures in stone. Large metal images are rare. British Museum.
