Summary

Description
English: A government under the Hashemite Emir Abdullah was established in Transjordan in April 1921 and in September 1922 the British government presented a memorandum to the League of Nations stating that Transjordan would be governed under its own Mandate, and this memorandum was approved. The British Mandate for Palestine included modern day Israel, the West Bank and Gaza from September 1922 until 1948.
