English: Bridgetown Priory The Augustinian Priory of St Mary at Bridgetown was founded between 1202 and 1216 by Alexander Fitzhugh, possibly a member of the Barry family. The remains at Bridgetown are substantially of the 13c, and are among the most extensive of any religious house established in Ireland in that period.
