English: Takuya Kanto, 35th Civil Engineer Squadron driver operator, secures a rope onto a brake bar during rappel training at the Misawa water tower at Misawa Air Base, Japan, June 8, 2012. The brake bar is used to control the friction and tension of the rope as the individual rappels to the ground.
