Summary

Description
English: Cattle intended for slaughter at a Djibouti butcher shop in 1902. The meat was destined to the Russian cruiser Boyarin at anchor at Djibouti for coaling and taking in supplies. The Boyarin was sunk early in 1904 during the Russo-Japanese War. Local Djibouti postcard issued in 1902-1903.
