Description
English: A view into the Citadel of Bosra (The theater is located inside). Walls of the large Ancient Roman theater in Bosra. It was built in the second half of the second century AD, and is constructed of black basalt.Today, it is a major archaeological site and has been declared by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site. Bosra has an ancient history and during the Roman era it was a prosperous provincial capital. Bosra, Busra al-Sham, Daraa, Syria.
