Summary

Description
English: Panel from Christopher Whall window in the Lady Chapel of Gloucester Cathedral. In this window Whall had depicted St Eadburg, St Hugh, St Boniface and St Edmund and below these images he had painted some vignettes depicting scenes from the lives of these Saints. In the case of Boniface, Whall shows him cutting down the heathen oak of Fridesland.
