Observation Notes: A Boletus viscidocorrugis mushroom growing at the Brendan T. Byrne State Forest, Burlington County, New Jersey, USA. This is a common find in the Pine Barrens in August. Appears somewhat similar to B. longicurvipes, but the exposed context staining pink (see the last photo) rules it out.
