Caricature of Napoleon I. (British political cartoon); Napoleon holds a millstone marked 'Hanover'. John Bull looks on complacently, relieved of the weight. John Bull's speech refers to the complaints of Lord Chatham, the elder Pitt, about the cost to Britain of the continued interest of the Hanoverian monarchs in defending that state.
