Summary

Description
English: Socalled «battle-axe» (Streitaxe) or boat axe of Swedish-Norwegian type-(w:Corded Ware culture), 2800-2400 BC. Discovered the summer of 2003 by a Danish tourist (fisher) at the river of Eiterå, Dunderland, in Rana municipality, Nordland, Norway. Handed over to the cultural department of Rana Museum on 1 July 2004. Photo 21 May 2007 with a NIKON Coolpix 5600 5,1 Megapixel camera.
(The Corded Ware culture has a core date of 3200 to 2300 BC, and localized dates of 3200/2900 to 2300/1800 BC)
