English: Colonel (later Major General) Bo Varenius, commander of Gotland Coastal Artillery Defence with Gotland Coastal Artillery Corps from 1964 to 1966, chief of staff in the Lower Norrland Military District from 1970 to 1972 and Chief of the Naval Staff from 1972 to 1984.
