Description
Nederlands: Hoog water alarm kanon op de dijk bij Blankenham. Het gebouwtje op de achtergrond is voor de opslag van buskruit. Het meertje op de foto is ontstaan tijdens een dijk doorbraak en is erg diep door het stromende water daarom werd de gerepareerde dijk er omheen gebouwd. Er zijn vele van dit soort watertjes te vinden langs de dijk bij Blankenham.
English: High water alarm cannon on the dike near Blankenham. The building at the bottom of the dike is a gunpowder storage. The pond in the background is the result of a dike breach. The eroding water made it very deep so the repaired dike was build around it. There are many such ponds to be found on the dike near Blankenham
