English: Bishop's Lydeard Station.
View SE, towards Norton Fitzwarren and Taunton; ex-GWR Norton Fitzwarren - Minehead branch. Branch closed completely 4/1/71, but restored by West Somerset Railway in stages 28/3/76 - 9/6/79. Although Bishop's Lydeard has been the eastern terminus of the WSR, it has retained the track making a connection with National Rail at Norton Fitzwarren and has recently opened its own platform there. In the photograph a BR Diesel multiple unit train from Taunton to Minehead is seen entering.
