| Purpose of use in article (WP:NFCC#8) | Billy Preston's celebrated performance of the song "That's the Way God Planned It" at the Concert for Bangladesh in 1971. Much commented on by both contemporary writers (from Rolling Stone, Melody Maker, NME and The Village Voice) and more recent reviewers (from Consequence of Sound and Uncut), the performance shows Preston leaving his keyboard and dancing across the front of the stage. A section dedicated to this film and live album release contains a quote, from Nigel Williamson of Uncut, saying that Preston gives "the performance of his life" on the song. The image used demonstrates Preston's stagecraft as well as the delight it engenders in his fellow performers, such as the concert's organiser, George Harrison. |
