Summary

Description
English: The fortified church is in the center of the village, on the hill, surrounded by two circular defense walls and several defense towers. One of them, the so-called Catholic Tower, was transformed into a chapel after the main church became Evangelical. This fresco, or what remains of it, is on the south wall of the tower’s ground level, and is XV-th century. This image is a enhanced picture of the paintings on the south wall and partially the vault above the ground chamber. The church and its fortifications are since 1993 on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
