Summary
| Description |
English: Using the Beta tool 'Paragraph-based edit conflict' a user sometimes find they can have an edit conflict reported whereby they are in conflict with themself! In this instance, a reply was posted and the four tildes converted into a proper signature, but the edit conflict shows the same text with the four tides still in place, presumably sensed as a subsequent edit.
There was no conflict occurring with any other user at this time. This is the diff of the edit, and nobody else had edited the page for at least 10 minutes afterwards. Note that the next two edits were also mine: the first of these two was when I accepted the 'Your edit' offer in the resolution tool. The next one was me having to undo that edit, as it had added an duplicate copy of my original reply, albeit with a new timestamp. |
