DescriptionBertha being demonstrated on the Exeter Canal Basin - geograph.org.uk - 1055804.jpg
English: Bertha being demonstrated on the Exeter Canal Basin A birthday treat for me, the oldest steam powered vessel in the country being demonstrated. My colleague and I were taken on board by rowing boat and my colleague demonstrated that transferring from rowing boat to dredger was as easy as falling off - well, a rowing boat. Fortunately both he and his equipment survived the experience.
