Deutsch: Das ehemalige Gebäude der Preußischen Central-Genossenschafts-Casse, Am Zeughaus 1-2, in Berlin-Mitte, hier gesehen von der Museumsinsel. Das ursprüngliche Bauteil rechts wurde 1898-1899 nach einem Entwurf von H. Roesener erbaut. Der große Erweiterungsbau links entstand 1905-1906. Nach Sanierung in den 1990er-Jahren beherbergt das Bauwerk heute die Verwaltung des Deutschen Historischen Museums. Es ist als Baudenkmal gelistet.
English: The former building of the Preußische Central-Genossenschafts-Casse, Am Zeughaus 1-2, in Berlin-Mitte, as seen from Museumsinsel. The original part of the building (right) was constructed 1898 to 1899 to a design by H. Roesener. The large annex on the left was built 1905 to 1906. After reconstruction in the 1990s, the building now serves as seat of the administration of the German Historical Museum. It has been designated as a historic landmark. |
