English: Arms of Bellot of Downton in Devon and of Bochym, Cornwall: Argent, on a chief sable three cinquefoils of the field (Vivian, Lt.Col. J.L., (Ed.) The Visitations of the County of Devon: Comprising the Heralds' Visitations of 1531, 1564 & 1620, Exeter, 1895, p.71). Of this family was Ambrose Bellott (c. 1561–1637) MP for East Looe, Cornwall, in 1597
