English: The last reunion in June 1931 of the descendants of Major John Redd (b. 1766) of Henry County, Virginia. Redd served as a major in the Continental Army, and built Belleview Plantation, on the National Register of Historic Places. The 1931 reunion was hosted by Pattie Redd Walker, great-granddaughter of Major Redd, and was held at Belleview Plantation, where this photo was taken. The house at Belleview stands in the background. |
