Summary

Description
English: Small part of folio 223r of Yale Beinecke Library MS 350- a volume of the Speculum Historiale by Vincent of Beauvais- showing attempt (probably mid-20th century) to remove ownership stamp before the item was offered to Yale. Note that K. Seaver, "Maps, Myths and Men" (2004) p120 incorrectly gives the folio as 233 instead of 223.
