English: Bee on Betony Betony - Stachys officinalis, is found throughout England and Wales but is generally absent from Ireland and Scotland. It is slow growing, long-lived and the tubular flowers are very attractive to bees and butterflies as a source of nectar. The leaves are oblong and toothed with a rounded tip.
