English: The wreck of the Rose, a Thames sailing barge registered at Maldon, lies by the abandoned quay at Beaumont-cum-Moze. Barges regularly took Essex hay and other produce to London, but now the cutting leading through the marshes to the open sea has silted up. The quay itself is made from stones brought from a former London Bridge.
