English: Beales in Bournemouth I have as yet not been able to find any detailed information about this magnificent building.
The Beales shop which previously stood on this spot was destroyed (or fatally damaged) in an air raid carried out by Focke-Wulf fighter bombers on 23rd May 1943. There has been a Beales shop on the site since at least 1881. This was taken from Old Christchurch Road. |
