Summary

Description
English: The former Bayswater Synagogue that stood in Chichester Place, London W2 from 1863 to 1965. It was demolished for construction of the Westway road overpass and the Warwick Estate housing redevelopment which replaced streets heavily affected by Second World War bombing of the nearby Great Western Railway and Paddington railway terminus.

This photo from the former archives of the Bayswater Synagogue, which was demolished in 1965, was last published in 1963. Approval has been given to the uploader by email from the final custodian, Rabbi Dr Raymond Apple, for its release to Commons.
