Map/diagram was created using Microsoft Excel. It is based on descriptions and a map on page 54 of the book "Lee's Endangered Left" by Richard R. Duncan. Reports from officers participating in the battle were also consulted. Also utilized was "History of the Fifth West Virginia Cavalry" by Frank S. Reader.
