| Description |
English: The old earth embankment dam that impounded Bastrop State Park Lake in Bastrop County, Texas, United States failed on May 25, 2015 due to heavy rains in the Bastrop area. The volume of rain was more than the spillway could handle. The dam over topped and then failed. Texas Park Road 1A went across the top of the dam. |
