Summary

Description TriMet's Barbur Blvd. Transit Center (in southwest Portland, Oregon; built in 1977), with bus 721 leaving, on its way to Sherwood on route 44-Sherwood (redesignated 5-Barbur Blvd. in 1984, and 12 in 1986). Bus 721 was a 1981 Crown-Ikarus 286 articulated bus, and the photo was taken on the 7th day of revenue service for this type of bus on the TriMet system. TriMet's last Crown-Ikarus articulated buses were retired 17 years later, in March 1999.
