English: Banwari Lal Joshi was an Indian political figure who was Governor of the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh from 2009 to 24 June 2014. He was previously Lieutenant-Governor of Delhi from 2004 to 2007, Governor of Meghalaya in 2007, and Governor of Uttarakhand from October 2007 to July 2009.
हिन्दी: बनवारी लाल जोशी भारत के कई राज्यों के उपराज्यपाल एवं राज्यपाल रह चुके हैं। ये उत्तराखंड के राज्यपाल रहे अक्टूबर २००७ से। इससे पूर्व ये दिल्ली के भी उपराज्यपाल रह चुके हैं, २००४ से २००७ के बीच। फिर ये मेघालय के राज्यपाल बने २००७ में। जोशी जी का जन्म राजस्थान के नागौर में छोटी खाटू नामक ग्राम में हुआ था।

Joshi released the Souvenir of the 37th Indian Social Science Congress on‘Building An Ecologically Sustainable Society’ and presented the first copy to the President, Shri Pranab Mukherjee, at the inauguration of XXXVII Indian Social Science Congress – 2013, at Aligarh on December 27, 2013.
