DescriptionBannwald Wettenberger Ried in Oberschwaben AW02.jpg
English: The protected forest "Wettenberger Ried" (Bannwald-Nr. 100102) in the southwestern part of nature reserve "Wettenberger Ried" (NSG 4.100) in Upper Swabia remains untouched since 2003 and slowly becomes the "Wilderness of tomorrow". Dead trees and shrubs fall into a channel, which is completely covered with common duckweed (Lemna minor L.) Mosses, tussock grass and rushes overgrow the rotting wood.
