Português: Bandeira do Estado de Pernambuco, em 1911, segundo proposta pelo historiador Pereira da Costa, por ele, assim descrita, no projeto de Lei nº 45 de 1911; encaminhado a Assembléia Legislativo do Estado (com a grafia da época): "Art. 2o. - Fica adoptada uma bandeira para o Estado assim disposta: um parallelogramo horisontalmente dividido em duas partes iguaes, sendo a superior de azul e a inferior de branco, figurando na superior um arco-iris tricolor, de vermelho, amarello e branco, tendo no alto, em contorno, três estrellas de branco equidistantemente dispostas e, em baixo, dentro do semicírculo, um sol de vermelho; e na parte branca inferior, uma cruz da ordem de Christo, centralmente disposta. "
