O Brasão de Fraiburgo foi elaborado em Paris, em 1964, pelo artista heráldico Robert Louis sob encomenda de Albert Mahler, empresário francês e emigrante, sócio dos Irmãos Frey em vinícola local, e que se estabeleceu em Fraiburgo nos primórdios da criação do município. (...) Posteriormente, o primitivo brasão foi ligeiramente alterado (...).
