English: Bamban, Tarlac[1] is a second class municipality in the province of Tarlac, Philippines. According to the 2010 census, it has a population of 62,413 people. The municipality of Bamban is the southernmost gateway of the melting pot province of Tarlac in the Central Plain of Luzon in the Philippines. It, however, is still predominantly Kapampangan, like the Municipalities of Capas and Concepcion.[2] It was in 1873 when Bamban was politically transferred from the province of Pampanga and became a town of the province of Tarlac. Don Manuel Sibal was its first “Kapitan” or head. Roads were established and a wooden bridge connecting it to Pampanga was erected in 1888.Tinaguriang mini-Jerusalem, mabibisita sa Bamban, Tarlac Mar 20, 2013[3] Land Area: 251.98 km² ZIP Code: 2317 Coordinates: 15°14'56"N 120°28'30"EBAMBAN: GATEWAY TO TARLAC[4]May 2013 Elections | List of Local Candidates In Bamban, Tarlac
