Summary

Description

Postcard photo of Baltimore and Ohio's number 50 diesel locomotive with the streamlining it had as The Abraham Lincoln removed. This is the way the locomotive is seen at the National Museum of Transport in St. Louis.

The locomotive is at the Electro-Motive plant in LaGrange/McCook Illinois, where it was built in 1935. It was brought to the plant from the museum for a celebration of Electro-Motive's 50 years in the locomotive business in 1972.
