English: Comparison of the BS 4573 shaver plug (top) to the Europlug. Note that the BS 4573 plug has conventional straight round pins (pin diameter 5.1 mm), it is intended to fit a socket specifically designed for that plug. The Europlug (pin diameter 4 mm) has no specific socket, but is designed to be used with a range of European round pin sockets having a pin spacing of 19 mm, and usually intended to accept a pin diameter of 4.8 mm. |
