Description
English: The BEL Battlefield Surveillance Radar-Short Range (BFSR-SR) on display, with the Display Unit to the left. the BFSR is a man-portable, battlefield and perimeter surveillance radar developed by LRDE, Bangalore and BEL for the Indian Army. Costing Rs 40 lakhs (USD 100,000) each, there are currently 1176 units being manufactured for use in border areas. Units have also been sold to foreign countries.
