English: Creation of the Flag and Coat

The municipal coat of arms flag was inspired by the entries recorded in the archaeological site of the municipality.

The flag of the municipality was determined with the following colors: blue representing the sky, white representing peace, green represents hope and yellow representing the wealth.

Author of the flag was Professor Heriot Carlos Fernandes da Silva. Creation of Flag Day

By Decree No. 01, April 25, 1978, the administration of Mayor Jose Claudino da Silva, was created the Flag Day Municipal Inga Hall in honor of the flag, to be celebrated all day May 2. Hino da Bandeira Inga

O flag of Inga are a scream The distance that will flow The drovers have inherited a name That your children will exalt Receive the flag dear! Love these people to sing

That you raise up high And thou art of this people The magnitude of the altar.

Português: Criação da Bandeira e Brasão

O brasão da bandeira municipal foi inspirado através das inscrições registradas no sitio arqueológicos do município.

A bandeira do município ficou determinada com as seguintes cores: azul representando o céu; branco representando a paz; verde representando a esperança e o amarelo representando as riquezas.

Autor da bandeira foi o professor Carlos Heriot Fernandes da Silva. Criação do Dia da Bandeira

Através do decreto nº. 01 de 25 de abril de 1978, na gestão do prefeito José Claudino da Silva, ficou criado o Dia da Bandeira Municipal de Ingá em homenagem ao pavilhão Municipal, para ser comemorado todo o dia 02 de maio. Hino da Bandeira de Ingá

Ó pavilhão Estandarte querido Por ser um povo unido que sempre te quis Tua presença representa a glória E nos lembra a história desta gente feliz Simbolizas um povo altineiro Bravo forte hospitaleiro Teu brasão tem uma história honrada

E nos fala da Pedra Lavrada Monumento que Ingá apresenta Com orgulho e amor veronil Tuas cores alegres nos lembram A bandeira do nosso Brasil

Ó bandeira de Ingá és um grito Que ao longe irá escoar Dos tropeiros herdaste um nome Que os teus filhos irão exaltar Recebei ó bandeira querida! O amor desta gente a cantar

Que te elevem bem alto E que sejas deste povo A grandeza, o altar.
