Summary

Description
English: Depiction of vergence & focus when viewing autostereograms, as if from above. Wall-eyed (parallel) vergence: both eyes focused on different objects at a farther distance than the objects are from the viewer (focused behind the objects, thus eyes are the opposite of crossed). Vergence is behind focus.
The empty circle is one's head, the black circles are one's eyes, the dashed line is the pattern on the page, and the solid lines are one's lines of sight (vergence). The arrow indicates one's accommodation.
